The recovery of the audiovisual sector and events depends on the involvement of the Government

During 2020 the sector has ceased its activity leaving behind more than 100.000 professionals and 11.000 million euros of impact.

The precarious situation of the audiovisual and events industry, whose activity is closely linked to capacity, requires the special attention of the current Government and the adoption of urgent measures for the recovery of the business fabric that is being lost every day.

Since the beginning of the pandemic caused by Covid-19, a total stoppage of the sector was generated, causing a tremendous impact on its activity, leaving thousands of companies and workers in the sector without work. Surprisingly, the performance of our leaders has been null, leaving aside the aid sector that would allow its survival until the activity is resumed. We have been invisible and we continue to be invisible to this Government.

In recent days we have seen the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, committed to protecting tourism, a sector closely linked to the entertainment industry. Our activity is also carried out in the hospitality and tourism sector, not only with the supply of audiovisual equipment, but also generating a very important part of its total volume, such as events and shows, all of them of economic importance. of great magnitude. That is why, we ask the Public Administration in its different areas to act and adopt measures for the recovery of the audiovisual and Events sector because if not, our business and professional fabric will disappear and with it an important part of the industry of our country.

From FIAVE we are joining forces to work together to recover the sector, join us!
