In September, the events sector was reactivated, which until now was weighing and looking askance at the measures and restrictions taken by the administration of the different communities.
It seems, for the moment, that the measures that slowed it down when programming are being relaxed, allowing it to return to a certain normality, even so, it is far from the volume of the prepandemic, both in the number of events and in their capacity to attend.
These days, for example, from FIAVE we celebrate the return of the event organized by AFIAL, one of our partners, which recovers the contest par excellence of the audiovisual sector after 2 years without being able to celebrate it. From October 5 to 7, AFIAL presents in Madrid Arena the latest in sound, lighting, audiovisual technology, special effects, electronics and auxiliary equipment structures. An entire event that aims to reconnect with the sector.
At the international level, these days also highlights the return of the Automobile Barcelona, which will be held at the Fira Barcelona from September 30 to October 10, promoting the sector as the European show with the most brands. The event will show the future of sustainable mobility and will once again be a great platform for the events sector, contributing to its reactivation.
On the other hand, it should be noted that the different autonomous communities are beginning to ease the restrictive measures. For example, the community of Madrid, one of the ones that promotes the highest volume of corporate events in Spain, has recovered part of the time freedom and has increased capacity from 50 to 75%, both indoors and outdoors, allowing restrictions to be relaxed. to push the sectors most dignified by the pandemic, such as the events sector. Likewise, communities such as Catalonia, another of the communities with the highest volume in national and international events, suspects for this October to lift the measures that will help the sector.
We will see how this new push advances and how the events sector recovers, it seems that the illusion has returned.
From FIAVE, the first Spanish federation that represents the audiovisual and events industry, we are joining forces to work together to recover the sector. Join us!
